Tao takes Arturo back to his place where they catch up on their lives and why Tao has returned from Del Sol. After a bit of competitive gaming, they find themselves hot and heavy on the couch, but Tao pumps the breaks due to not wanting to get carried away too quickly with someone he's interested in. Meanwhile, Angels Esme and Cairo cross the Portal in search of Efrain and Elias, but realize they can't be sensed, and they track down Kari instead, revealing to her something that she has to try and process in minutes. Somewhere, hidden, Efrain and Elias face devastation and destruction at the hands of someone they love.
